Megastar Mammootty's long pending King 2 is starting by the end of the month.The megastar who is holidaying abroad is expected to be back this week.King 2 has Mammootty in the lead and is a sequel to the star's The King (1995).The megastar will once again appear as Joseph Alex, the district collector with in the scripts written by Renji Panikkar and directed by Shaji Kailas.
Mammootty has given continuous dates for the shoot of King 2, which is likely to be the star's Onam 2011 release.
