Mammootty bagged Mathrubhumi Awards

Megastar Mammootty bagged the top honours at the Mathrubhumi Kalyan Silks Chalachitra awards.
Mammootty has been given the best actor award for his performance in Pranchiyettan and the Saint.

Ranjith has been selected as the best director.

Mammootty agin as Joseph Alex

Wellknown director Shaji Kailas will prepare a sequel of the big hit 'The King' in the title 'King 2'.The superstar Mammootty will once again appear as Joseph Alex, the district collector with an extra bone in this movie, in the scripts of Renji Panikkar.

Mammootty is expected to join this flick in another couple of months.

August 15 release in March 25

Superstar Mammootty's latest movie August 15 will hit the theatres on March 25

The August 15 movie will make a grand release in more than 100 theaters on the same day, all across Kerala.

August 15 directed by Shaji Kailas and produced by aroam mani.

Mammootty a high tech pickpocketer in Pickpocket

Superstar Mammootty new movie titled as 'Pickpocket' directed by Vinod Vijayan.

In this movie Mammootty as Hari narayanan , a high tech pickpocketer.Script narrated by E K Sabeer,the movie will be cinematographed by Samir Thair who had been with Mammootty hits like' Big B' and 'Daddycool'.The movie planned as a suspense thriller will start its shoot shortly at Ernakulam and Pollachy.

The movie produced by Akhil cinemas and K N M films.
